It is 5:30 in the morning, and i have woken up the new husband three times:
1) My nose is so clogged and my throat so scratchy, so i woke him up. Because i needed a hug.
2) The hotel phone wouldn’t stop making a beeping noise, so we had to call up front desk to tell us what to do. We ended up just unplugging it because they didn’t know what to do either.
3) The iPod dock’s alarm went off at 5am. It was set to turn on its radio, but it was set to some random frequency so the room was just filled with static. I got so creeped out so i had to wake him up to make it stop!
Sorry Niki! I will make it up to you in the morning, when you are awake by choice. Hahaha.
But now i really can’t sleep and i don’t want to bug him anymore so i will just say some overdue thank yous! I was so overwhelmed during the wedding that i forgot to vocalise our gratitude properly. Bad bride!
Without these people, the happiest day of our lives wouldn’t have been as happy:
Our families, for loving us unconditionally, all the wisdom shared, the support (emotional, spiritual, financial!), the grace and hugs and years of training for this very day 🙂
Our amazing friends who were our Bridesmaids, Groomsmen and Secondary Sponsors for the dress-fixing, shot-taking, and words of encouragement. We chose so very well! We weren’t able to take proper photos after the ceremony because it rained and we had to run inside! Boo! But i will photoshop one together if i have to.
Pastor Jojo, that ceremony was beautiful and everyone said so. You know Niki and I so well and we are glad that you were the one who officiated our wedding! Thank you!
Hilary Isaac and Enzo Flojo for being such amazing hosts! I wouldn’t have entrusted the reception program to anyone else 🙂
Victoria Velasco for the most amazing fabric flowers in the world! For two weeks she worked on my bouquet, the Bridesmaids bouquets and the boutonnieres! Such creative hands and a golden heart.
Mako Vergara and Doki Puno, for being the most perfect musical pair for our ceremony. Thank you for bringing so many tears to so many peoples’ eyes! You captured our love 🙂
Bevs and Allan Po, whose hearts wanted to bless us and so they lent us the best wooden chairs for the ceremony! You guys really answered our prayers, thank you!
JB Bernardo and Honeydough for our amazing dessert buffet! Everyone raved about all the yumminess.
Tita Liza Flojo and Jocelyn Volkers for the super yummy cake pops by Cakes by Liza!!! They came from the States and made them especially for us 🙂 Red velvet cake pops never tasted better!
Flavors on Fire, our caterer, for making the place look gorgeous even if it was meant to be a garden wedding. You made the indoor venue work and in fact, we’re so glad the rain forced us to have it in the glass pavilion! 🙂
Tie the Knot Wedding Specialists, our wonderful on-the-day organizers! My gosh, they actually had a bag of chocolates just for me, so that i would have something to shove into my face whenever i started stressing out. They were attentive, sweet, and efficient. You guys made it easy for us 🙂
Monica Sebial, for making our dream ceremony come true. And you found me the most perfect door in the world! You are the best, mon. We love you so much!
BokehBug and Jake Olaso, our photo and video suppliers! We are so excited to see how you captured our day, and thank you for not forcing us to do anything super cheesy. Hahahaha! 🙂
The Mango Farm, for existing! You guys have such a beautiful venue and we hope the you make so many other couples happy for many, many more years 🙂
Rodel Banson, for our dresses and Niki’s and my Dad’s suit! You were kind to us and you accommodated our crazy schedules and you made us look beautiful. Thank you!
Amanda Padilla, you are an amazing makeup artist! You really captured my peg for natural but artistahin. Haha! Please thank George for my hair too! He’s got magic hands!
Bambi Dimapilis, for helping my Bridesmaids Omu and Kaity look extra-gorgeous! 🙂
To all our friends and relatives who came home for the wedding, our hearts will never be able to thank you enough!
Everyone who came to celebrate with us, eat, laugh, cry, pose and get kooky with us, THANK YOU! We love you so much!
Well, that’s it for now, i think i covered all the bases! It’s now quarter to 7 and i’ve a little over an hour before we go down for breakfast. Today we go looking for a proper bed frame and mattress! Hope we find the perfect ones today. Cross your fingers!:)
